He's having an affair

The thing that I fear the most finally happened. I could sense this coming a few months back ever since he laid his eyes on her. Now that she has arrived from the Big Apple, she's slim, beaming, and elegant; everyone desires her and my hubby is no exception. She's the beau ideal of her siblings, epitome of everything exclusive. And she's here to conquer my better half.

Her arrival was a great eminence. For the past two months hubby has been 'studying' how to explore her, how to keep up with her voguish maintenance, and hubby even participated in a forum especially dedicated on how to own this baroness that's born in California. When the day came, of all the people, I was assigned to pick her up. She was elegantly chauffeured by a younger lad. Poised and stunning, almost like Ms.Beckham; I could feel my hand trembled on the first sighting of her. I felt feverish, I know my life is about to change. And it did.

Hubby has missed one morning departing to work without the usual 'salam'. He bought a nice cozy abode just for her. He slept closely with her after a gentle rub on her nose, she lulls him to sleep then he woke up with his palm gently on her cheek; even worse he went off to work with her by his side. He loves it when she whispers to his ears. He'd certainly drift away.

I think my hubby has fallen in love with someone else and that is like a knife driven straight to my heart. I can't wait to be left alone with this particular mistress. I yearn to see what she has that I don't.

So this is what it feels like when your loved one is cheating on you.
In my case it was ostentatiously displayed.
I'm in my 3rd year of marriage and slowly I'm deprived of affections.

I guess no Hallmark card for me this year.
